Amsterdam Urban Adventures

I'm Giuseppe Cipriani. Italian born, I relocated to Amsterdam seven years ago and fell in love with the dynamic and enjoyable life along the canals of the Dutch capital. I have lived in several countries before settling in Amsterdam, and travelled extensively, expecially in Asia where I worked as a researcher in the field of Asian studies and as a photo-reporter.

 

I have been an Intrepid tour leader in Western Europe, and through Intrepid I came across Urban Adventures. I felt I could share my passion for the history, culture and lifestyle of Amsterdam with its visitors, showing the full beauty of a city that can be very welcoming to the visitor that wants to explore it off the beaten path.

 

I love and share the responsible approach to tourism that Urban Adventures stands for, and I believe that tourism has the potential, if well managed, to become a source of enrichment for a destination.

 

Regarding my interests, I love contemporary art, especially photography, and take part in several cultural groups lncluding cinema and book clubs. I also thoroughly enjoy wintersports or sailing with friends, and have a passion for cooking.

 

The Amsterdam Urban Adventures team is made up of a group of young dutch locals that are very pasionate about the beauty and culture of their city. Join them on an Amsterdam tour as they show you the city that they lovingly call home.
